Norris McLaughlin, P.A., has named Catherine A. Curcio a Member of the firm, effective January 1, 2018. She has been an associate attorney in the firm’s Pennsylvania office since 2012.
Curcio, a resident of Nazareth, works with clients whose needs lie in all areas of family law, from inception to conclusion, including divorce, equitable distribution, property settlement agreements, custody, child and spousal support, and adoption. She participates in custody and support conferences, masters and de novo hearings, pre-trial and settlement conferences, and other hearings in Lehigh, Northampton, Monroe, Carbon, and Bucks Counties.
In addition to her family law practice, Curcio handles residential and commercial real estate transactions, including conveyances, leasing, landlord and tenant matters, actions in partition and ejectment, actions to quiet title, municipal matters, and zoning and land use matters for public and private clients. She represents real estate owners, both individuals and entities, and developers in a broad range of real estate transactions. Curcio appears on behalf of clients before local zoning hearing boards and planning commissions. She assists municipalities and municipal code enforcement officers in compliance hearings and drafts, interprets, and implements ordinances regulating matters from property maintenance to life and safety measures.
Because of her dual practice areas, Curcio is uniquely positioned to serve clients and address client needs that transcend a single area of the law. Her practice areas complement one another and often overlap in a multitude of ways.
Outside of her practice, Curcio is Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Third Street Alliance for Women and Children, where she also serves on the executive committee and the development committee. She is a member of the Lafayette College Alumni Association and the Young Lawyers Division of the Northampton County Bar Association. Curcio earned her J.D. in 2006 from New York Law School and her B.A. from Lafayette College in 2003.
